About Sammamish Comment
Sammamish Comment was founded in 2002 (or thereabouts) by Scott Hamilton to provide news and comment independent of official city statements, press releases and newsletters; and to provide an independent view of one of the two newspapers then providing news coverage in Sammamish that was poorly reported and thinly researched. When I was appointed to the Sammamish Planning Commission in 2004, The Comment was assumed by another person, who served as editor until his appointment to the Commission. Publication was suspended then. I left the Commission Dec. 31, 2009, and now resume publishing The Comment.
Today Sammamish is covered by the Sammamish Review and Sammamish Reporter. The two newspapers do a pretty good job of covering the public news but don’t always get the “Inside-City Hall” stuff. We’ll try to do this.
Publication Dates
This will be one of those things that when we have something to say, we’ll say it. There is no specific publishing date.
